"You see the world like I do. Shadows, madness and all."

"I wish I was so, but... no." The handsome man smiled ominously as he approached and cupped by jaw. I sighed as the warmth of his hand seeped into my flesh and bones as his beautiful eyes traced my form. "I am the shadows. Madness and all."

"That's not possible." I breathed. "You're flesh and blood. As I am."

"Am I?" The man tittered and shook his head as he touched his nose against mine. I closed my eyes instinctively as his hands lovingly framed my face and he kissed tenderly at my forehead. "Maybe I am. Or maybe I'm the bogeyman you've been fearing your whole life?"

"If you are, then I don't mind feeling scared. You're scary but in a good way."

"Haha, you say that now. Just wait until I introduce you to my weird family."

"So soon, Mr. Maxwell? How forward of you."

"I don't waste time." The handsome man chuckled. "But then again, time has never meant anything to me before."
