✒NOTE: As you can see, the only simple thing you need to do to obtain the freckles you put in the prompt is... switch back to Stable 1.5 -- immediately, the freckles are there. Plus, the left eye is no more fake-ish.
Sorry, but the more I use it, the less I like this fabled SDXL. I will continue because I'm stubborn, but... frankly, it's a big disappointment (and costs way too much).

I like SDXL, but I don't care for photorealism in my images. It does not make SD 1.5 obsolete, but it can do some things that SD 1.5 cannot. I'd like to do more with SDXL, but I've stopped creating with NC (or copying images from other platforms to NC) because the site is so painfully slow, it's no fun anymore. I have 60 images left to publish (and even that is a pain), which is enough for 1-2 weeks, so I hope it will be fixed until then. If not... I don't know, but the current state is unbearable for me.
