I always keep prompts open. I believe that art should be shared. I also believe that to deliberately deny anyone access to any information about your prompt is just rude. I don't mind people having closed prompts, but I'll never appreciate anyone who won't answer questions about the prompt in the comments. Maybe that's just me, but that's okay too. I respect y'all's choices with this.
A vibrant fairy garden rendered in thick brushstrokes. This maximalist masterpiece showcases impasto gouache and watercolor techniques, creating a textured, painterly effect reminiscent of impressionism.

Awesome! This is so beautiful TGF! It should be in a story book seen by the whole world. It would be nice to be seen in the Thursday challenge. ππ§‘
About using prompts, I tried it once and decided it wasn't for me. (I made 2 images from the prompt, tree houses. They did well and the prompts are open for anyone to copy). I prefer to try to keep my images as unique to my own ideas as possible. Sometimes that fails such as in the market place challenge where many were similar. In my own digital art that I draw using the mouse I also like to keep it unique, so I never use a reference image. In other words I don't like copying others in any sphere of my life.
I agree about being ignored in the comment sections re prompts. An acknowledgement at least would be so good. I guess if someone keeps their prompts private it means just that for many.
