Captain Robert "Whitebeard" Harrison

Captain Whitebeard was famous for his permissiveness and the velvet glove he used with his men. But, if anyone betrayed his trust, then he became ruthless, and did not hesitate to throw the unruly man overboard.

He died at the age of 82 on the tropical island where he had retired after plundering the seven seas for decades.

🏴‍☠️Well. today is (of course) Pirate Day! 🏴‍☠️

Yesterday I started with "Hey, I put on a ship for the challenge". Then I saw the ships posted around the site and went all "ooooh" and "aaaaah" -- and immediately decided to revert to what I feel most at home with: portraits.

I did so many pirates that at the end I spent a couple of hours deciding which one. 🤣

Choice made, now I have a handful of them who (in my humble opinion of course) are worthy publishing.
