Outtake of the “Mythical Creature Portraits” challenge. 雪女 Yuki Onna are malignant yōkai that kill travelers lost in snowstorms. They look like ethereal, beautiful women with long black hair. They suck the life force out of their victims, and freeze them with their icy breath. ❄️

Yuki onna means snow woman, so does that mean she d!ed in snow/winter or she k!lls in it. She looks way to pretty to be yōkai the way I imagine them. Unless that's her "secret weapon".. But, then again, I grew up with obake stories in Hawai'i 🤷🏻♀️
