When day departs, and night begins to weave Its shadowed threads across the weary sky, Pause, and recall the sun’s warm, golden eye, Its fleeting kiss that morning will retrieve.

How one must bow so the other may rise, How light births shadow, and shadow shapes light, Two dancers bound by time’s eternal rite, One waxing soft as the other slowly dies.
