Thx. Some sort of inner angst and frustration with the absurdities of the world has started spilling over here as well, resulting in a warning from the moderators for being overly political and provocative. I take the criticism as a testament to the power of art, even though I have humbly removed a few images. I do understand that this is not the right forum for strong declarations, and I will try to tone down the intensity in any future pieces with a message that I share here. Like this one 😇

With the mindset of constant growth, humanity is effectively consuming itself, while inequality among people continues to deepen. Add to this the relentless waging of wars over absurd reasons, and the future looks darker than many grim periods in history — periods from which we rarely draw any meaningful lessons. 

Instead, we arrogantly keep running into the same walls, inventing new ways to worsen the lives of our fellow humans along the way. We are a truly foolish species, simultaneously destroying the survival chances of all other life forms at a staggering pace.

It is also peculiar how many power-hungry individuals believe themselves to be smarter than others and above both historical truths and current realities, placing themselves beyond the law, much like ancient kings.
