Just to suffer? Ok, ok, I'm kidding.
First off, I am really surprised that this AI-generated stuff really sucked me in so much. That was unexpected.
As to why I am here ... to get my mind away from certain stuff, to combat my writer's block and GM burnout, and to create some images(mostly locations and other scenery stuff) for my RP forum.
Before I ended up here, I could spend days or even weeks(!) searching for a right and fitting artwork for a location or a piece of lore for my setting. Then I would end up loosing said artwork under tons and tons of arts I picked up along the way. But here... here I can really speed up the process by tens of times. Besides, here I can "create" an image in style of some of my beloved artists - Boris Vallejo, Frank Frazetta, and Luis Royo. The silver-on-gold trio as I call them 😏 Of course, these three aren't the only artists whose style I use and would like to use here, but the ones I mentioned are my favourite.
A dramatic nighttime fantasy landscape featuring a writer at their table. The composition, reminiscent of Frazetta's style, focuses on themes of struggle and creative block.

The images I post here right now might look the same. Just some thing in a style of different authors, rinse and repeat. Because of that some people might think that I am a one-trick pony. Well, maybe. For now I just experiment with things, try different prompts and settings, see how it turns out, etc.
Later I might post more portrait stuff and maybe even bits of lore associated with posted images. We'll see😏
