Robot Dog, 10,000 AD (Anno Doggie of course 😝)

This speaks strongly to an important principle of AI promptcraft: play to your mods’ strengths, artists especially!

If your artists are collectively known for graceful NSFW illustrations of the female human form, trying to extract a war scene with aliens may not be the most efficient use of your time and cred. Likewise if your artists are all about Pixar 3d characters or are comic illustrators, an oil painting of Mordor is likely going to be a challenge.

I spent like 16 or 18 credits trying to bang a robot dog out of my new “inside the spacedock / outside the spacestation” mod set (really just throwing a ton of sci-fi illustrators at the wall to see what stuck, but it works really well so yeah). This was the only image that was usable, and even this one is far from perfect.

Sometimes I forget the cardinal laws of promptcraft I’ve come to believe in over the last year+ doing AI art, and bang my head (and wallet!) against some immovable object. Don’t be like me! 😛
