Never read a Chuck Palahniuk book, but I would like to.  He seems like a very dirty-minded person in interviews. 
Just like everybody else on the planet, I have watched Fight Club and enjoyed it.   I'll try out this Damned book one day to see what this Madison girl is all about.

Yeah, he does push the envelope a fair bit... especially in short story form. 

She's the ultimate brat, although Damned (and Doomed) are very much 'Love or Hate' books. But the same can be said about most of his stuff. Lullaby is probably the most accessible.
